Right on everyone, My dear friend from Sweden is coming over tomo, off home on Monday <3 This means serious multitasking girl time which includes, chat chat chat chat....baking, cooking, shopping, sight seeing, picnics and of course party. So at the min I'm running around the house cleaning like a freak, and in a couple of hours I'm off for an interview for a food and beverage host in Holiday Inn. Wish me luck!

Mosaic Mirror

A tip how to make that boring mirror look retro. All I used was white colored tape. I JUST CAN'T STOP MAKING STUFF. At the minute I'm making new handles to our cupboard, will show u some pics later when I'm finished. THIS IS FUN!

Second hand.

Found this old vintage look a like picture from a local second hand shop. I gave 50 p for it. I like how the frame is in a bad condition, because it makes it look a bit more old, retro and shabby. Just got the love the can can dancers!

Creativity.

I'm in a mood, in an extremely good mood, an extremely good creative mood! Bought a glue gun, some shoe boxes and tins, found some old curtains in the cupboard and voila'...New adorable storage tins and boxes. It's fun and easy, and cheap!!

Re-using.

As I said in the last post, I cleaned up the entire kitchen. Went trough old cupboards and found lots of old cups, jugs and dishes, but yes, covered in dust. Or can I even call it dust? It took me ages to clean them up because it was like dust mixed with grease so it was almost impossible to get cleaned. Anyways, shame on people who just let these antique, adorable porcelain just lie around. So i decided to get rid of everything that was on top of the cupboards, stuff from the '80 and old spaghetti everywhere. DISGUSTING. Then I put all the old dishes along the wall, to make that old, vintage, shabby chic, retro look, followed by all the jugs and pots. I'm moody that i did not take a before and after pic, but trust me, this kitchen is not recognizable anymore. Thumbs up for me and my creative side.

Good news. Alton Tower Resort got back to me. They were interested in my CV and would love to meet up with me, so I'm booked in for a interview next Tuesday. Fingers crossed! Sunny Thursday today, which means I'm off hunting for flowers and plants. This house needs serious decoration, I'll post sum pics later on the kitchen that I tidied up last night. It took me 7 h, I promise you guys, no one has cleaned that kitchen since I believe the '70. Everyone were so happy and were so thankful what I did, except one guy, because he believes its his house just because he has been here the longest. Shame on you! And don't even think I'm done now. We have still got the bathrooms, cellar, garden and living room, suck it up boy.

River Island is absolutely one of my favorite shops when it comes to clothes, shoes and jewelry! I love trying out different styles, and mixing all styles together is even more fun. I've got this weird obsession, I just have to have stuff that is weird. In the end, I'm wearing it because I think it looks good, and it makes me feel good. I don't care about that WHATS NEW, OH HOW SHOULD I CUT MY HAIR, WHATS THE FASHION IS ON ABOUT AT THE MINUTE, or I CAN ONLY BUY CLOTHES THAT'S TRENDY. No no no no, that's boring, and I think it tells everything about you then. But yes, everyone is different and what would the world look like if everyone would only wear whats trendy!?
