Lovely day in the park.

Love this feeling. You know, summer is soon here. Birds singing in the morning, for once the sun is up before you are and you can finally leave all your windows open without freezing to death! I've said good bye to my winter clothes and welcomed all the summer outfits. My wardrobe does not look so dull and grey any more. Now it looks so flowery and so fresh! me likey.

A couple days ago we decided to spend the lovely sunny noon by the river here in Turku. I must say... Days like that I really like Turku, but that's it. After a couple hours it got a bit chilly, it started gettin a bit windy, really cold winds. That means summer is sadly not here yet. but it's not long now.

Working...

Been working almost for a week now on my little tiny ship, only a few more days to go then back home to my love, and the spring weather! me likey! Then I'll be home for one week and the off again. This time I'm flying to Helsingborg, Sweden for this one week course called Basic Safety! fun! After that I'll be home for about a month! So I defo have to plan a trip ore something somewhere. Probably goin back to England and Sweden for a week or so!? Let's see...

My top 5 perfumes.

Elizabeth Arden - Green Tea Eau De Toilette. This is just a simple fragrance that I think is great for a day wear because it does not attract much attention.

Emporio Armani - Diamond by Gorgio Armani. It's a feminine fragrance that I think is more suitable for evening wear. When I apply it, it smells really sweet (almost a bit too sweet) but after a while it does calm down a bit. I really like it because the fragrance lasts all night.

Armani - Code Summer. A really summery fragrance that I wear for both evening and day wear. the fragrance is wonderful.

Clinique - Happy Heart. I use this one like i use Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea perfume. Perfect fragrance for daily use. Sweet and summery. A bit shitty that it does not last long enough.

A life without Art???

Art is something that I could never live without. I could never ever imagine my home without paintings or sculptures, it is something that represent me and my life. A apartment without art for me, just looks so impersonal. This is some paintings and sculptures I've got at home, most of them are made by my mother :)

of course my mother made them! :D I love them, unfortunately I haven't used them yet, because I've only got three windows and they are already filled with flowers and sculptures, so I rather hang them up in our future apartment in England :)

My mum made this one about 20 years ago. I don't know if you can see but it's actually a self portrait of her holding me when I was a baby! :)

Australia?

My boyfriend is having a hard time deciding where he wants to move! At the moment we have decided to get rid of our apartment in Finland, move to england for a year or so (so I can take some nice shoe making courses! :)) and then do something totally different! My boyfriend said he really wants to move to Australia. Almost all of his relatives lives there and he would get lots of work there also, so exciting. There's also lots of shoe design and other design schools in Australia, so there's a win win situation for both of us! If we will move to Australia, I'm defo gonna work on a mango farm!!!! :D

Hair!

I colored my hair yday, it turned out ok! I also colored my extension the same colour, and on monday i'm off to the hairdresser to put some honeyblonde/golden highlights. I'm trying to get something similar to Jennifer Aniston's hair colour, I think it looks so pretty!

I tried out the new SYOSS Professional Performance, 7-6 Middle Blond.

Last time I bought hair from foxy locks (think it was almost a year ago, the hair stays shiny and in a good condition for such a long time) I bought the deluxe set (160 gram) but it was almost too much hair (!!) so I decided to try out the 120 gram, which is still a lot of hair. The quality of the hair is amazing, so thick and soft. And of course it's human hair and it doesn't tangle at all because it's REMY!
